FrenzKey is a custom pinyin keyboard for iOS that lets you type Chinese words quickly by prefix, with your frequently-used words jumping to the front of the candidate bar.
Send a message using the form below and you will get a reply by email. It helps to say which iPhone model and iOS version you are on, and which app you were typing into when the problem happened.
The form is hosted by Google Forms. See the privacy policy for what that means.
FrenzKey has to act as the keyboard's input method itself, holding what you type in a buffer and showing Chinese candidates above the keys. Because of that, it replaces the system keyboard entirely while active — neither iOS's own predictive text nor the host app's own suggestion bar is available at the same time.
FrenzKey does not need Full Access and does not request it. Recently used words are stored locally inside the keyboard extension itself.
Type a bit more of the pinyin — FrenzKey matches on the prefix you've typed so far from its bundled dictionary. Once you've selected a word once, it will rank higher for that prefix next time.
See the privacy policy. Short version: FrenzKey makes no network requests at all, and nothing you type ever leaves your phone.
